Pittman Calls Local Hospital Partnership a ‘Win’ for the Region

Senator Joe Pittman (R-41) expressed his satisfaction with Armstrong County Memorial Hospital’s (ACMH) affiliation agreement with the Pennsylvania Mountains Care Network (PMCN), calling it a positive development for the region. Pittman stated, “I was very pleased to learn of ACMH’s plans to explore affiliation with PMCN last fall."

Pittman highlighted the significance of the partnership, stating, “This long-term alliance is a win for local residents, a win for our region, and a win for the future of rural healthcare.” He also emphasized the role of PMCN as an employer and economic engine for the region.

The Senator stressed the importance of a strong healthcare foundation for thriving communities, saying, “Thriving communities need a robust health care foundation in place to provide services and assistance to individuals throughout every stage of their lives.”

Pittman expressed his commitment to supporting the growth of PMCN during his time in office, stating, “I am fully committed to the success of PMCN and will do all I can to support their growth during my time in office.”
